Following a positive sites inspection by local councillors last Friday this application is due to be considered by South Gloucestershire Council Planning Committee (East) on the 25th April.
The proposals include re-cladding the rendered concrete blockwork with pennant stone and replacing the profiled metal roofing with slate. The original building was an RAF mission hut, which was moved from RAF Melksham when it closed in the mid 1960's. The fabric insulation will be massively upgraded and heating provided by a ground source heat pump.
